Marin Open Studios - Two Weekends in May

Afternoon Fog Over Marin Headlands
The Annual Marin Open Studios is a great county wide event where the public is invited to visit the studios of over 250 participating Marin County artists. You can see where they create their art work and have a conversation about their process and what inspires them. The dates this year are May 6 & 7, 13 & 14, open 11am to 6pm.
I will have my studio open both weekends at San Anselmo Artist Studios, 1000 Sir Francis Drake Blvd., in beautiful San Anselmo. This will be my 16th year participating in the event and I always enjoy sharing my studio with my collectors and new visitors curious about my art. I especially enjoy talking with people and sharing conversations about my art. It's always fun to have young visitors also and know that I may inspire them to be more creative. In the past couple of months I have been working on a series of paintings for my upcoming Ranches and Rolling Hills show that benefits the Marin Agricultural Land Trust. I will be previewing some of these paintings of goats, sheep, and ranch land at my Open Studio along with my other paintings of Marin. Please visit my website to see some of my art: www.christincoy.com
You can pick up a color catalog with maps and images of all the participating artists' work at the preview gallery at Town Center, Corte Madera, Space #325 ( former location of Ethan Allen). There will be a Preview Gala on April 29, from 5 - 8 pm where you can meet the artists and see a sample of their art. The gallery will be open daily through the end of Open Studio second weekend. http://marinopenstudios.org
