The Holidays are approaching and it's time for the Mini Show at the Bolinas Museum. This year I decided to paint a series of minis, 4"x5",of some of the colorful little dories and dinghies that often are tied up at the dock or moored on the Bolinas Lagoon. I had fun using some brighter colors on my palette. The dinghy below often has a passenger or two perched on the bow or the stern.

I invite you to come out to the charming town of Bolinas to visit the wonderful museum at 48 Wharf Road, and to see the exhibit of minis created by over 80 Marin artists. The dimensions of all the art work in the show cannot exceed 6"x6" framed,  so there are a lot of little gems to behold. The show opens on Saturday November 17th, 3-5pm, and will run through the Holidays until December 30th.  

Museum hours: Friday 1:00 - 5:00; Saturday & Sunday 12:00 - 5:00
